LREC Annual Meeting
LREC is excited to host our Annual Membership Meeting on April 26th. This is your opportunity to participate in the democratic process of electing your board members who oversee LREC and LRTC. Save the date and mark your calendar for your Co-op Annual Meeting! The meeting will be at Hulbert Public Schools (316 Rider Ln, Hulbert, OK 74441). Registration and voting opens at 8 AM until 1 PM.
Each member account registered at the annual meeting will also receive a $30 electric credit and have their name entered into a raffle for cash prizes totaling $3,500 after the Annual Meeting. The membership will vote on three open-board seats. The voting will be conducted in an in-person drive-through format. Please bring your bill for quicker registration.
We will also have a business meeting at the Hulbert School Auditorium at 1:05 PM for our CEO to update the members on the co-op’s financials. NO PRIZES will be presented at this business meeting; it will only consist of the co-op financial update.
LREC’s success depends on guidance from its Board of Trustees, consisting of seven democratically elected individuals from the membership. The board governs the cooperative by setting strategic goals, rates, and cooperative policies.
If you or a passenger in your vehicle have difficulty spending an extended amount of time in a vehicle, please take precautions accordingly. This will be our fifth year hosting our Annual Meeting in the drive-through format, and with our past experience, traffic will flow quickly.
We look forward to another successful Annual Meeting and continuing to provide our members safe, reliable, and competitive services for today and tomorrow.
