Lake Region Employees Attend New Co-op Orientation

Lake Region Employees Attend New Co-op Employee Orientation

Four Lake Region employees, Charles Lamons, Liz McClain, Kiersten Adair, and Reanna Hill, recently attended the New Co-op Employee Orientation hosted by the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives. They joined 57 fellow new co-op employees from 13 cooperatives across the state.

The orientation gave attendees a chance to learn more about the cooperative business model and the important role Oklahoma’s electric cooperatives play in communities statewide.

This event aligns with Co-op Principle 5: Education, Training, and Information, which emphasizes providing education and training for members and employees to help cooperatives thrive, as well as informing the public about the benefits of cooperation.

It also reflects Co-op Principle 6: Cooperation Amongst Cooperatives, highlighting how working together strengthens the cooperative movement at local, regional, and national levels.
