People Behind Your Power: Meet Levi
This week in our People Behind Your Power series, we’re spotlighting Levi! Levi is a lineman here at Lake Region and has been a valued part of our team for over 6 years. We’re proud to have dedicated local team members like him working every day to keep the lights on for our communities. We asked him a few questions to help our members get to know him a little better:
What inspired you to pursue a career as a lineman?
“I enjoy working outside with my hands, and I wanted a career where I could help people.”
What skills or qualities make a great lineman?
“You have to be willing to learn, keep an open mind, and not be afraid of getting dirty or working long hours.”
What’s something most people don’t realize about the work linemen do?
“People don’t realize how much teamwork is involved and how many problem-solving skills you have to have.”
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
“I enjoy spending time with my family and taking my kids to the racetrack.”
Coffee or energy drink?
“Most definitely a big Red Bull in the morning.”
Early mornings or late-night shifts?
“I prefer early mornings.”
